The EU has earmarked €40 million of its Water Facility to support water partnership projects which are intended to: "develop capacity in the ACP water & sanitation sector, leading to better water and sanitation governance and management, and to the sustainable development and maintenance of Infrastructure"

This website has been created by PSIRU at the University of Greenwich to assist water and sanitation utilities in EU and African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries in forming partnerships to support the development of water services in ACP countries.

You are not required to use this website at any stage. However, grant applicants and other interested parties can use this website or contact PSIRU to receive advice and information on partnerships. Contact: e.lobina@gre.ac.uk (+44 208 331 8476).

The official Guidelines for Grant Applicants and Grant Application Form, in English and French, are available at the call for ACP-EU water partnerships. Please note that the deadline for the submission of concept notes was 6 October 2010.

The timing and modality of notification of the European Commission's decision on the submitted concept notes is indicated in section 2.5 of the Guidelines for Grant Applicants.
